Perfume Pagoda - Van Phuc
Ha Tay, right beside of Hanoi to the south, is the province that has the most beautiful pagodas in Vietnam including Perfume Pagoda which to Vietnamese people is the land of Buddha. You will be amazed by the beauties of rivers, paddy fields, limestone mountain, forests, valleys and many temples and pagodas lying on the side of the mountain or inside the caves. It is like an experience of life or a spirit, and each Vietnamese has to visit this sacred land at least one time their lives. To foreigners, a trip to Perfume Pagoda will be unforgettable souvenir about a beautiful place. On the way back to Hanoi, we’ll visit Van Phuc, the most famous and oldest silk village of Vietnam for its unique and discerning beauty that is praised in many poems, songs, and stories. Here, you will see all the steps to create a completed product. Although primitive tools are getting replaced by machine, most of the works are made by hand. Itinerary Details
08.00: We pick you up at your hotel and depart for the Perfume Pagoda, short break of 15 minutes on the halfway
10.30: Arrival at the Perfume Pagoda. You’ll have one hour on a small boat rowed by local people traveling along Yen river with impressive beauty of two sides.
After 2 hours climbing up to the mountain, you’ll reach a cave that is considered as the most beautiful in the southern sky and houses the pagoda of the Perfume vestige.
Next, you’ll go back by cable about 10 minutes and then visit Thien Tru pagoda or pagoda leading to Haven before having lunch at a restaurant
16.30: Get on the boat again, traveling back to Ben Duc.
Departure for Hanoi. On the way back to the city, we’ll spend about 15 minutes visiting Van Phuc – a famous traditional handicraft village for its products.
